How to Customize Your Computer Drive Icons

This little guide will show you how-to change the icon on any drive on your computer from the default icon. There are two ways to change the icon of any given item in Windows XP, for the sake ofsimplicity, we’ll cover the easy route. You essentially be creating an .inf file that will have information regarding the icon you want to use (location, position) and placing that file in the root directory of the drive whose icon you wish to change.
