Enable the Battery Percentage Display On Your iPhone

by

Before the 3GS iPhone users had to rely on the small battery indicator on their iPhone’s to guess how much battery was left, luckily Apple corrected this in OS 3.0 on the 3GS and now iPhone owners will be able to view the battery status as a percentage next to the battery indicator on the top right corner. This very useful option is disable by default and many 3G owners that upgraded to 3GS may not know of its existence.

The how-to below will walk you through the steps so that you can enable the Battery Percentage display on your iPhone.

Note: The battery percentage display is only available on the iPhone 3GS.
