I had this implemented, but since changed to the asynchronous google analytics snippet, the onload=”javascript: page Tracker._setVar(â€˜no-report’);” stopped working.
Instead, it was giving a javascript error “pageTracker is not defined”.
Solved it with onload=”javascript: _gaq.push(['_setVar','no-report']);”

@Joe Roescher – I believe that the gaq is a queue object (function stack), the setVar is a different object. I haven't tried that one but I've read that is does work. I'm including some reference below in case you want to do some further reading.

Thanks for explaining this so clearly.
I've read about using this instead of setVar
_gaq.push(['_setVar','internal']);
What is this and why?
