How to Sync Your Android Phone with Your Computer Over Wi-Fi

One of the most sought after mobile features has just landed with the latest version of DoubleTwist. The popular iTunes for Android application recently launched an AirSync feature which allows Android owners to sync their devices with their computers over Wi-Fi. Not to be confused with AirPlay, AirSync is strictly for media syncing of your photos, music, and videos to and from the device.

In order to use this new feature you must have the latest version of DoubleTwist (Mac and PC) and purchase the companion Android App for $4.99 from the Android Market. The guide below will show you how to set up Wi-Fi syncing with DoubleTwist.

Setup Wi-Fi Syncing

Before you can begin syncing you first need to get Wi-Fi syncing set up.

1. Download and install the latest version of DoubleTwist.

2. Grab your Android device and head on over to the Android Market, and search for doubleTwist AirSync.


Note: If you already use DoubleTwist, then click on the “AirSync” icon to upgrade the App.

3. Download and install.

Once installed follow the instructions on the phone to pair the device with your DoubleTwist on your computer.

Now you can begin enjoying wireless syncing of your Android Device with your computer.
