How to Create a New Email Message without Opening Outlook

Have you ever had the need to send an email, but were slowed down because Outlook wasn’t open? I sure have and I’m all about productivity. The how-to below will show you how to create an email message without ever opening Outlook. We’ll create a shortcut on your desktop that when activated will open a New Message window so that you can get to compose emails right away.

Note: I used Outlook 2003 to create this tutorial.
