Reporting faults to Microsoft
I wondered if anyone could show me how to turn of the feature in XP where, when a program stops responding, a dialogue box pops up asking if you wish to make a report to Microsoft.
I tend to run one of my computers to the edge, trying new stuff, and this happens frequently. I don't mind reporting stuff but it gets to be a pain when it happens several times each session.

Yeah...
Unfortunately most of us have to wait for it to crap out, then buy a new one...lol

There is a way to disable those...
Sounds to me like you want to disable error reporting. In order to disable that, follow the steps below.
1. Right-click on My Computer and select Properties from the drop down menu.
2. Click on the Advanced tab and click on Error Reporting.
3. When the Error Reporting box pops up, click on Disable Error Reporting and uncheck But notify me...
4. You will no longer be bugged by those error reports.
5. Check back as I will put up a visual guide.
