YouTube recently increased the limit of uploaded videos to 15 minutes for all users, but in this latest update selected users who have complied with YouTube’s Community Guidelines will be able to upload videos beyond the 15 minute threshold. It looks like that threshold has gone up significantly, specially if YouTube suggests uploading lectures, high school basketball games, and your own films.
