How to Schedule a Defragmentation on your Windows XP Machine

View Tutorial When you use or install programs on your computer files get scattered all over your hard drive. This is what is referred to as file fragmentation, when your files become fragmented they make it more difficult for your computer to locate and as a result your computers performance degrades. You can simply defrag your hard drive and be over with it. The reality is most computer users do not have the time to defrag their hard drives, it can take 20 minutes - several hours depending on the specifications of your computer. Instead of sitting around an waiting for your computer to defrag you’re going to learn how to schedule your computer to defrag itself when you’re not around.
