There are tons of other possibilities for companies to use Gigwalk. You can have someone make sure check a problem traffic light, verify road signs, test a wireless signal, or even check a stores quality. Now most gigs are pretty small and simple, but some can become more complex. This is an easy way to make $50-$100 extra a month. AT&T in a partnership with the NCAA has released a new free NCAA Fan Zone March Madness app available to AT&T customers with smartphones. The app allows you to chat with other users and share your opinions about your favorite teams while giving you the latest rankings, scores and other team news. You can also create private groups and invite your friends to chat amongst each other or you can decide to make everything public and make your Fan Zone posts be also posted on sites like Facebook and Twitter.

The app is now available and you can access it by downloading it or by texting BB to 483353 on your AT&T phone.

In iTunes you are able to create folders, add/remove apps, and more with a click of your mouse. The guide below will show you how to uninstall/delete apps from your iPad using iTunes.

Software/Hardware used: iTunes 10 running on Mac OS X and an iPad running iOS 4.2.

1. Click on the iPad under Devices.

2. Click Apps on the left pane.

3. Make sure that Sync Apps is checked. Place your cursor over the app you wish to delete from the iPad (use the simulated iPad screen, not the App list on the left). When the (x) appears on the top left corner of the App’s icon, click on it to delete the App.

Note: You could also uncheck the apps from the Apps list on the left to remove them from the iPad.

Repeat for other apps you may wish to delete. Once you are done, click Sync on the lower right corner of the iTunes window to sync the changes to your iPad.

Google Voice for iPhone

When you first sign in you will be asked to pick a phone number to use with Google Voice. You will have the option of using one of the phones on your account or add a number by tapping on Custom.

You can navigate your Inbox, History, Voicemails, Text Messages and more. To place a call enter the number and tap on the Call button, if you wish to text simply enter the number and tap Text. Have you been itching to watch flash videos on your iPhone or iPad? Well, It looks like you are going to continue waiting. Shortly after the Skyfire Browser app debuted on the App store it was sold out as a result of demand exceeding Skyfire Labs’s predictions and its servers. The service apparently suffered quality degradation as hundreds of users purchased the $2.99 app and began streaming videos. The official Skyfire Labs blog post states that the company will be working on adding capacity to their systems and will make the App available as soon as they can support additional users.

• Videos can take about 15-20 seconds to load.
• Not all websites are supported.
• Games and Flash Apps are not supported.
• Soon to be released iOS 4.2 appears to have playback issues.
• You must be at least 17 years old to download this game. Frequent/Intense Sexual Content or Nudity.
• Will Skyfire Labs be around in the next 6 months?

In this review/guide we will cover the following:

Note: I used an iPhone 4 running iOS4 and Mozilla Firefox 3.6 for this tutorial.

Configuring Sync on Your Computer

Before you get started, lets make sure you have Firefox installed along with the Firefox Sync Add-in.

1. Once installed you will be prompted to create an account (I’ve never used Sync before) or if you already have Sync setup on another computer use that option instead.

2. Choose the server type you want to use and enter your information, click A. Next to proceed.

3. Enter a Secret Phrase and confirm by entering it again.

Note: The Secret Phrase is used to encrypt all your data so only you can access it. It is never stored on the sever, so don’t lose this!

B. Click Next to proceed.

4. Enter a Computer Name to describe the computer this iteration of Firefox is running on.

5. Click on Custom Settings to tell Sync what items to synchronize, options are:

• Sync Bookmarks
• Sync Passwords
• Sync Preferences
• Sync History
• Sync Tabs

Once configured you can access Sync settings in Firefox by following the instructions below.

1. In Firefox click on the Tool menu item, place your cursor over A. Sync and B. and click on the option your wish to use from the menu.

• Disconnect – This will disconnect Sync from your account so no syncing will occur.
• Sync Now – When you click on Sync your profile will be updated.
• Preferences – In this window (see below) you will be able to update your Sync preferences.

The Preferences window for Sync will allow you to update your password, secret phrase, you computer’s name, and the items that will be synchronized.

Configuring Firefox Home on the iPhone

Download Firefox Home from iTunes/App Store.

1. Tap on the Firefox Home app on the Home Screen.

2. Since we have already configured a Sync account in the previous section of the guide we’ll tap on I Have a Sync Account.

3. Enter your Sync credentials and tap on Done.

The iPhone will be synchronized with your Sync profile.

Using Firefox Home on Your iPhone

1. The home page for the Firefox Home app is the Search page. Here you will be able to A. enter a Search query to locate Tabs, Bookmarks, and History.

2. When you tap on Tabs, you will be presented B. with a list of open tabs sorted by computer.

3. To access bookmarks from your computers on the iPhone, simply tap on the Bookmarks button. Here you will C. find a listing of all of your Bookmarks.

4. You can also configure the Settings, Sign Out of your account, and Refresh (Manual Sync) your account by tapping on the Settings button and choosing the appropriate option.

MyCongress is a portal to detailed information about your elected U.S. Congressional officials. Track their news, video, and Twitter feeds. Look up their official Open Congress profile or contact them directly. MyCongress helps you get in touch with your government.

MyCongress will use your current location to find the Representatives and Senators for District and State respectively. You can also bookmark elected officials.

You can locate officials by entering your Zip Code or allowing the iPad to share your location (Auto Locate) to determine where you reside. You can also use the pane to the left to locate Congressional officials by Name, State, Party, or Chamber.

Once the App determines where you reside it will list the Senators for your State and the Representative for the District you live in.

When you tap on the Representative or Senator you will be presented with a page that pulls all of the information about the official into a concise format. On this page you will be able to see the following:

• Official’s Name
• Party Affiliation
• Recent News
• YouTube Channel (If they have one)
• Twitter Feed (If they have one)
