The Picasa uploader for Facebook does not appear to be working in Mac OSX? Has anyone else had an issue with this and found a workaround? After uploading the photos there is no upload options presented. The part where you choose an album to post your pictures or create a new album etc, does not appear and when visiting Facebook the pictures have not been posted.

The Picasa Uploader app seems like a great idea. However, when I first tried to use it, it wanted to "Access my basic information Includes name, profile picture, gender, networks, user ID, list of friends, and any other information I've shared with everyone."
None of the sites that recommend this app and explain how to use it address this issue.
So my question is why Picasa Uploader needs all of my facebook data to simply move a photo from my Picasa folder to my facebook page?
Any input would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Keith
