If you like astronomy and you don’t have the money to afford a telescope or the light pollution in your city is just too much, you’re in luck; Stellarium, an open source program allows you to view the heavens in the comfort of your home. Download the program and try it for yourself.

Description via author’s site: ‘Stellarium is a free open source planetarium for your computer. It shows a realistic sky in 3D, just like what you see with the naked eye, binoculars or a telescope. It is being used in planetarium projectors. Just set your coordinates and go.’
