How to Make Restaurant Reservations with Bing

When Microsoft set out to make a better search engine, not only did they improve the overall search experience, but they also made it easier for you to accomplish tasks without having to scan search results to find what you are looking for.

Take restaurant searches, most of the time when you are searching for a local restaurant by name you are trying to determine its location and phone number so that you can make reservations. Most search engines, Bing included will provide you with this information, however where Bing stands apart from its competitors is in providing you with tools to make the reservation without having to pick up the phone. In a partnership with OpenTable, a popular online restaurant reservations website, Bing allows you to place the reservation using OpenTable by clicking on a link in the search results page. All you have to do is select the party size and time, OpenTable takes care of the rest.
