That doesn’t turn off notifications. It only turns off notification SOUNDS. The only way I’ve found to actually turn off calendar notifications is to open the calendar app, then click “Calendars” and disable the calendars you don’t want notifications for. That’s annoying though, since it means having to re-eneble the calendars whenever you want to see them.

Nice post about turning off the notification sounds. The more challenging thing is to show us how to turn off the actual notification pop-up. I have an iPhone, iPad and MacBook that all have the same calendar pop-up notification show up on the screen at the same time. I want to see my Calendar in all three locations, but only want the pop up reminder to show on the MacBook. Any way to do this? Thanks!!

      Allan,

I’ve looked around on the iPad and the iPhone (4.1) and can’t find an option that allows you to specify which devices the notifications are assigned to. Sorry. Doesn’t seem to be an option.

That just turns on the sound for the notification. The notification still shows on the screen :(
